Boston vs New York

I'm so sick of this complex everyone in Boston has about New York. Boston isn't New York and never will be New York. It's like comparing Dennis Rodman to Michael Jordan. They were both professional basketball players but one of them was a world-class athlete in a league of his own while the other was an ugly, narotic, maniac that could grab a lot of rebounds.

New York is New York. I don't care. I don't really like the Yankees or the Giants. But I wish Bostonians would just get over it already. Anyone that knows better knows that if you want to have fun or really party you head to New York. Boston is a joke.

  1. Hi there!
I think I would like to talk to you. I am trying hard to move to Boston form NYC. Because of all the noise and vibrations which one cannot avoid regardless of economical status or any other factor. NYers are too neurotic, do not have settled thinking - well they have hardly time to think, see friends, relatives, it is a lot of stress and ugly things to see on the daily basis. It stinks, architecture in average is horrible, it is simply to big for humane living. It lacks green passive part where vibrations can be amortized. It is prettiest at night and from 10 miles distance, like on the postcard. I am in my early 30s, I do not desire to party 24/7 and I do not need 24/7 anything. Boston is much prettier city, smaller. I never lived in suburbs, I am European I have always lived in a city. I lived in NYC for 15 years, it was fun to experiment, yet I would like to settle in a city, not an urban jungle. I would like to talk to you about your experiences with Boston, the post does sound frustrating, I would like to hear more of the rational fine details. I can deal with traffic-I do not intend to drive much in Boston. I like to have more of personal time and yet cultural resources when I choose to connect and consume. In NYC people are more running into one another then meeting one another. I would like to relax that. Please respond if you want you can e-mail me and we can talk. Balkanolog@hotmail.com

    1. Better move west coast. The gentleman here is not wrong at all. I can understand him very well as I'm too from California and Arizona.
